Day Tour
Depending on your choice of transport, you can travel to Suzhou by road or by rail. Your tour begins with a visit to the stunning Humble Administrator’s Garden. This is one of the finest examples of design and balance in gardens across all of China. You’ll also visit the 2500 year-old Pan Gate, which served as a land and water entrance to ancient Suzhou. Lunch will served be at a local restaurant and later you'll relax on a boat cruise around the city to fully appreciate Suzhou’s beauty. Afterwards, you’ll tour a silk factory to gain an insight into the production of textiles and handmade embroideries. Later you'll depart Suzhou and return back to Shanghai. (L)
