Day 1

On arrival, you’ll be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. No meals have been arranged for today.

Day 2

This morning you’ll visit the Shanghai Museum, which contains an impressive collection of ancient relics and cultural artefacts. After lunch, visit the Jade Buddha Temple and take a wander through the Old Shanghai town and peaceful Yuyuan Gardens. This is a great place to pick up some folk art or sample the famous local dumplings in the bustling marketplace. Later you’ll walk along the historical riverfront area known as the Bund to see the impressive classic European architecture. Afterwards you can relax back at your hotel or have the option of visiting the world-famous Shanghai Acrobatic Show**. This option will also be available tomorrow night. (BL)

Day 3

After breakfast you’ll embark on a day tour of Zhouzhuang. This is a picture perfect town with a 900 year-old history that is also known for its beautiful waterways and ancient bridges. Wander through town to savour the rustic charm and marvel at the beauty as you visit the ancient Shen Family Garden. Next you’ll enjoy a lunch of local delicacies before transferring back to your hotel. (BL)
