How to Get Mission Hills Haikou

The majority of our clients fly directly into Hong Kong International Airport and from there we connect them with a 60 minute flight to Haikou. Airport transfers only take 15 minutes to reach the resort. Several local airlines fly this route directly from Hong Kong along with options from Shenzhen and Guangzhou.

It weaves through a striking landscape of native trees, lakes and wetlands punctuated by black lava rock.

Sandbelt Trails

Sandbelt Trails Course at Mission Hills Haikou

This course imitates some of Australia's sandbelt courses. You'll encounter landscapes and features
such as wild native grasses, yuccas and eucalyptus trees. The course has 105 bunkers with
high vertical lips and the greens are an open plan surrounded by cut fairway rather than rough.

The Vintage

This course is a turn of the century design has an interesting mix of challenging features.
Expect to encounter narrow tree-lined fairways, abrupt mounds, 175 deep pot bunkers and
large and small greens that are surrounded by areas of rough and narrow approaches.

Stepping Stone

This is a short Par 3 course that has a true pitch and putt layout. The easier course has a minimal
amount of 43 bunkers and greens surrounded by a visually stunning landscape of black lava rock.

Lava Fields

Whilst similar to the Blackstone course, you’ll notice less tree cover with a very open plan layout that
is dominated with 156 rugged waste bunkers positioned to challenge many of your tee shots. Relief
is compensated by wide fairways giving you some measure of an angle of attack to the greens.
