Day Tour
This morning you’ll be picked up by your guide and transported by road out of Shanghai on route to Hangzhou. On arrival, you’ll be transferred to a wharf where your cruise boat will be waiting. Sit back and relax as you enjoy a wonderful cruise on the beautiful West Lake. After a sumptuous lunch at a local restaurant, you’ll visit Lingyin Temple, which was originally built in the 4th century AD. The temple houses the largest wooden Buddha statue in China. Next you’ll go to the interesting Liuhe Pagoda before dropping in to a Tea Museum and Plantation. You’ll gain a wonderful understanding of the culture of tea and have an opportunity to sample some of China’s finest brews. Transfer back to Shanghai. (L)
